One of the great things that solar and wind power offers is peace of mind. Peace of mind that you’re more self-reliant and independent. And peace of mind that you and your family are more protected from the global conflict and terrorism that threatens our nation’s power grid.
We don’t worry about blackouts, brownouts or the so-called smart grid. We are also more self-sufficient than the uninformed – so that no matter what happens to the outside world, we’re in a better position to be OK.
Well, here’s some big news: China just built its first aircraft carrier (you can read about it at the link below):
You can bet they are not planning on going fishing with it!
After all, Iran has made a living rattling its sabers and probably has the nukes to be a true global menace. It’s clear that terrorists are intent on bringing the fight to our shores.
One thing you can bet on, when the attack comes, whoever it comes from, they will almost certainly attack our aging and decrepit power grid. There is no easier way for a foreign enemy to cripple our nation than to target a system that was designed and implemented in the early 20th century, and hasn’t been upgraded since.
But I can guarantee one thing — they won’t get to me or my family. We’ve purposely insulated ourselves. We’ll have power no matter what, and that’s why I think it’s important for you to read the Power4Patriots materials, watch the step-by-step videos and start building your own home system.
Even if you just build a small backup system that will allow you wait out a power outage from an attack, you need to be prepared. CAN I GO OFF GRID TOTALLY? IF SO, HOW CAN I DO THAT AND/OR WOULD IT MAKE MORE SENSE TO ALSO SELL MY EXCESS POWER BACK TO THE ELECTRIC COMPANY? People can live without power IF you do not live in the city. Generations before us did not have power. You can not live without water and food. A person wanting to survive such events first needs to move into the country and get away from the mass. Buy a property with a water source and a buy a hand pump so you can access your water without power. Then acquire food and heirloom seeds. Learn to grow. AFTER you have all of that first….Then invest into solar, etc. Power will be the least of your worries if you are starving. You can not eat a solar panel chip.

Aircraft carriers are sitting ducks, unless way back and protected with other ships. A shore based gun is better than a ship based gun.
I think the highest risk to the grid is a solar flare.
I understand that if the grid went down solar would be switched off as well, if hooked into it. And a stand-alone system would be inefficient (batteries?) Perhaps a system could be devised to be unhooked at a time like that?

Hello Frank,
I have started to set up a solar powered system, but I am confused what to do. If there is an EMP won’t that knock out my charge controller and inverter? I was thinking about setting it up, taking a pick of it, then tearing it down and putting the inverter and controller in a Faraday cage…But how will I keep my battery’s maintained?

Frank this reply is mostly for the article that came out today January second 2013 kind of entitled why another thing that you may not have come to mind what is really important 2 lot of us is that the more of us that participate in the self sufficient endeavors the few people are going to be fighting for their family that have not been prepared baking and stealing what they can I think it’s a wonderful thing that you’ve done I don’t comment very often are the things you’ve written but everything you put out there I appreciate very much and some of the CDs I have gotten how are very important to me and my family and I share the information what anybody who will listen so getting thank you very much

Agree – The power grid is definitely a priority target in a hostile situation (EMP).
Question – What will happen to my solar/wind power if such a massive EMP (man made or solar) incident does in fact occur?? Will my solar panels, wind generator, inverter and other components survive??

Our grid is more likely to get hit by an EMP or solar flare first which will take down the grid everywhere on Earth.

Unless China got the plans from us or the Brits, i’d be suprised if it even floats! Just one of our carriers could decimate theirs in nothing flat. We also have supperior pilots and aircraft. As far as our Power Grid goes, yeah, that would be an easy target! Glad i got the books!

Like a holoucost survivor once said on PBS “If you think it can’t happen to you think again.” I thank DaD and God for for my country upbringing and now I thank God for you and Glenn Beck. It’s coming, I Just hope I still have a little more time to get more supplies. Keep up the word, I really appreciate the time everyone is putting into getting this vital information out to those of us who need the help. Ihave a 52 yr.old daughter with autism and in diapers, two weeks out of every month she is ZENA with PMS . Absolutley China is a threat, and Russia as well. Monsonto, geoengineering, our own government. Its madness in todays world.
